Who we share it with

We share only what’s needed for each purpose:

  • Humm, if you choose finance with them.
  • OnePageCRM, our customer relationship management system, which stores customer and enquiry records.
  • Payment providers that process card payments.
  • Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and Google, for advertising and website analytics, only where you’ve consented.
  • Service providers who host our website and provide our email, newsletter and SMS services.
  • Our accountants, and Revenue or other authorities where the law requires it, including sharing CCTV footage with An Garda Síochána if needed to investigate a crime.

Our service providers act only on our instructions and must keep your data secure. We don’t sell your personal data.

Transfers outside the EU

Some of our providers, including Meta and Google, may process data in the United States. Where they do, we rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses to protect your data.

How long we keep it

  • Customer and order records: 6 years after the end of the tax year of your purchase, as required by Irish tax law.
  • Warranty and service records: for your warranty period plus 1 year.
  • Enquiries from people who didn’t buy: 2 years from our last contact.
  • Marketing preferences: until you unsubscribe. We then keep a note of your opt-out so we don’t contact you again.
  • CCTV footage: 30 days, unless it’s needed to investigate an incident.

CCTV in our showroom

We use motion-activated CCTV in our showroom to protect our staff, visitors and premises, and to help prevent and investigate break-ins. Signs at the entrance tell you that recording is in place. Cameras cover the showroom and entrance only, and record video only, not sound.

When the cameras detect movement, they record a short clip and may alert us, so that we can check the live view. Clips are stored by our camera provider’s app and deleted automatically after 24 hours. If a clip shows an incident, such as a break-in, we may download and keep it for as long as needed to deal with it, including sharing it with An Garda Síochána or our insurer. Footage is viewed only by authorised staff.

If you’d like a copy of any footage of yourself, please email us as soon as possible with the date and time of your visit. Because clips are deleted after 24 hours, we may no longer have any footage by the time we receive your request.

Your rights

You have the right to:

  • access a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • have inaccurate data corrected
  • have your data deleted, unless we’re legally required to keep it
  • restrict or object to how we use your data, including for direct marketing
  • receive your data in a portable format
  • withdraw your consent at any time. This doesn’t affect anything we did with your data before you withdrew it.

Email [email protected] to make a request. We’ll reply within one month.
